Pavilions for Danish Modernism
A two week long architectural exploration with the grid being its only constraint.

1. To toy with atmosphere and experience-driven design.
2. To explore the elements of modernism and reinterpret them in a scandinavian environment.
3. To ponder the nature of contexte and explore what happens when there is none. Is there any validity in contexteless architecture at all?
4. To generate a series of pavilions that offer different immersive experienses based on the manipulation of proportions, the grid, lighting qualities and materiality.
The four pavilions sit on the boundary between architecture and art installations.
They have no contexte, but their proportions and formal qualities assume certain field manipulations: to elevate, to sit, to embed and to reroute.
They have no prescribed program, but their scale and inherent nature makes them more conducive to certain activities: to perform, to learn, to ponder, to immerse oneself.
