prev / next
A novel system that appropriates common cyclonic technology into a passive wall component, Breathe Brick is an invention that aids in air purification for buildings and architectural structures. By integrating this passive air-filtering system into the architecture, we eliminate the need for a secondary system that occupies space and requires expertise to install and maintain. Therefor, this building component can be utilized almost anywhere regardless of infrastructure or wealth. Testing of the bricks has shown that such a wall can successfully eliminate dust, pollen, car exhaust particulates and other harmful particles from the air, providing people with better interior air qualtiy. This brick was designed with the end goal to make fabrication kits widely available in third world countries with poor air quality.
